Training at St Nicholas park pilgrims way 6-30-7-30pm weds night during summer
Fairlands Youth Girls under 14 were previously known as Stevenage Borough Juniors.
The girls have been together for three seasons starting at 7 aside mini soccer in 2004/05 season where they finished 6th, the following year they stepped up to 11 aside and after reaching the quarter finals of the League cup and the semi final of the plate they finished 5th in a hard fought league. The 2006/07 season brought a runners up place in the Home Counties girls league and promotion to Division One.
After winning promotion the team have now transferred to become Fairlands Youth Girls Under 14s and have swapped the red and white of Boro for the yellow and blue of Fairlands.
MEET THE MANAGERS
Peter Hill and David Gosnell started the team in 2004/05 with 8 players and entered the Herts Girls 7 aside league and have built the team into a 11 aside squad during the last few years, both managers are FA Qualified Grade One coaches and hope to go on to take the next level in the near future Dave runs for the Spartans running team in Stevenage and Ivan prefers the less energetic sport and is a season ticket holder at Stevenage Borough F.C David works for John Lewis in Welwyn Garden City and Ivan also works in Welwyn Garden for Aurora Lighting who are the sponsors of the girls tracksuits.
