Fairland’s Youth Football Club was established in 1968 and since then has grown every year, not just in the amount of teams but also the amount of enthusiasm amongst its members.
The club has had some good people at the head of it through the years that have given a lot of time and effort; the Committee at the moment are all eager and all heading towards the same goals.
Fairland’s are a Chartered Standard Club and are very proud of this achievement. It took a lot of hard work and time to reach this point and special thanks go to all who were involved in achieving this.
Fairland’s is a Club that is proud to be known as a family orientated club. Its members are all keen to get on with each other and to help each other on all occasions.
We run two club competitions every season, a mini soccer tournament in June and then an eleven a side pre-season tournament in August. These two events are very popular with other clubs and we have great feed back from them.
Our parents also take part in an end of season tournament where the parents show the players all their skills; this is a great day for the parents as well as the children.
In all, I am very please to be part of Fairland’s and hope that myself and the committee will be backed all the way to take this club into the future.
Thank you to all players, members and associates of the club for all their support over the passed years.
